Have you read the first four installments?
The last installment ended with the short answers to some of the most asked questions. I'll begin this installment by giving the long answers to those questions.
First, a general answer to all of those questions. Apes weigh 300 to 800 lbs. (no fat) and are about three times stronger than humans. That means they have more muscle mass and heavier bones than humans. Yet, all they eat is fruit. If their bigger, stronger bodies can operate heathfully with only fruit, then, it follows, humans can also.
Now to more specific answers. Protein. When is it that a human being needs the most protein? Answer: during the first nine months to twelve months of life. Why? Answer: because the baby is growing most rapidly and its brain is still developing. What is the best food for the baby during this period? Answer: its mother's breast milk. How much protein does breast milk have? Answer: about 2%. If a fast-growing, developing baby needs food with only 2% protein, why should fully grown and developed people need 30%-40% protein from meat? Your turn to answer.
By the way, fruit contains 1 1/2% - 2% protein. That's just about what mother's milk has. Quite a co-incidence...or...was it planned that way by the Great Planner?
Now, on to calcium. How much calcium does a human body need? The answer is: enough for strong bones and teeth, a little for the nervous system, and to keep the body alkaline (an acidic body will get sick and eventually die). Since most of the calcium for bones, teeth and nerves can be recycled by the body, very little additional is needed if the diet keeps the body alkaline. If you eat food that causes the body to become acidic, then the body has to take calcium from the bones and teeth to neutralize the acid or death would occur in a short time. What kinds of foods make the body acidic? Answer: all flesh, eggs, all dairy products except butter, and most grains (rice, millet, spelt and amaranth being the exceptions). (Note: If you're still concerned about getting enough calcium, eat carrots. Carrots contain more calcium, ounce for ounce, than cow's milk and the calcium is in the correct biological form to be easily assimilated, contrary to cow's milk. Carrots are alkaline.)
FRUITS ARE ALKALINE. Refer to the prervious installment for the definition of fruit.
My own rule of thumb is that, if you can eat it like a large apple with no adverse effects, it's OK. That means it's raw, can be eaten in large quantity with no adverse effect, and can be prepared with nothing more than a knife to peel and slice it.
I'll cover some of the objectionable foods in the next installment.

Food for thought
If medication is good for you, why not take it when you are healthy and strong? If medication is not good for you (PDR), why take it when you are ill and weak?
Health is meant to be the natural state of life. Sickness is the normal state of life in the USA.
We shall inherit the fruits of today's sowings.

Metric System
Now that the metric system is in wide use all over the world, we can see why American have not adopted it:
- A miss is as good as 1.6 kilometers.
- Put your best .3 of a meter forward.
- Spare the 5.03 meters and spoil the child.
- Twenty-eight grams of prevention is worth 453 grams of cure.
- Give a man 2.5 centimeters and he'll take 1.6 kilometers.
- Peter Piper picked 8.8 liters of pickled peppers
