Biologically Correct Diet (BCD) - 1st Installment

Most of us were brought up to believe that medical practitioners were almost gods and were the authorities on health. Over the years, I have learned that is just propaganda. The first crack happened when I heard for the third time in my life words to the effect that "we are pursuing a very promising treatment for cancer that will eliminate it forever. It is only two or three years from availability. Please continue your donations so that the work can continue." The first time I heard that was in the early 1950's. Is there a cancer cure? No, but billions of dollars of donations and tax money have been spent on "research."

Or, how about the statement: Science has sent men to the moon but can't cure the common cold. The truth is that "medical science" has cured nothing after spending tens of billions of dollars and tens of thousands of man-hours in research. The only result of all that "research" is thousands of toxic concoctions that only provide easing of symptoms, but no cures. And, since they are toxic, they lay the groundwork for future diseases.

All diseases, I have learned, are not caused by little demons called bacteria and viruses. Those little guys are just scavengers who are doing their duty trying to clean up something that is dead or dying. They are attracted to acidic bodies...dead bodies are acidic, healthy bodies are alkaline. (More about this in future installments.)

The food you eat determines whether or not you have a alkaline or acid body. My body is alkaline because I eat an alkaline diet and I have not had any colds or flu or headaches or any disease in over 35 years since I changed my diet.

This is the start of my treatise on the diet I follow. It is not necessarily a weight loss diet as I believe all of those diets are myopic and tunnel-visioned. They equate weight loss with health which is very short-sighted as there is much more to health than weight...just like there's more to health than physical fitness. They are both just a small part of good health.

In order to fully explain the Biologically Correct Diet (BCD), I have to go back to the beginning. And I do mean the beginning...back to the creation of life. [By the way, I prefer calling it the God Ordained Diet or G.O.D.]

When God/Nature (for atheists and agnostics, evolution/nature) created life, He/She/It gave each living thing the necessary means to obtain its correct food, to ingest that food, to digest that food, to assimilate the nutrients from that food, and, finally, to safely eliminate the wastes. This is very important and should be remembered as we move along through all of the installments.

First example. What would happen if you tried to plant a palm tree on a mountainside or a pine tree on the shores of a tropical island? They would, of course, get sick and die. Why? Because they are not in the environment they are prepared for so they cannot obtain the nutrients they need. For instance, the palm tree needs much sunlight which is why it has broad leaves. The pine tree needs to be able to send roots far down into soil without coming into contact with salt water.

Second example. Would you feed your pet dog or cat grass as an exclusive diet? Of course not. They would starve to death yet horses and cows get along quite well on such a diet. The reason being is that horses and cows have the means to obtain, ingest, digest, and eliminate grass while dogs and cats do not have those means. Have you ever seen a dog or a cat try to eat grass? Their teeth are not efficient for eating grass while horses and cows have the correct teeth for eating grass. When dogs and cats do eat a little grass, they will later regurgitate it and it is not changed even though it has been in their highly acidic stomachs for a couple of hours. Horses and cows, on the other hand, have the means (digestive systems) to digest grass and to get nutrients from that high cellulose plant.

So, now, let's get to humans. Let's go back to the first humans during the first few thousand years. What food were they equipped to obtain, ingest, digest, etc. Remember, they had no tools or weapons to use for obtaining food, no fire for cooking, no clothing, no knowledge of hunting or gardening/farming. They didn't even know how to sharpen a stick to a point and use the pointed stick for digging. How did they survive and propagate through those many centuries? What were their means of obtaining food? What food could they obtain? What food did God prepare them to eat?

Thus ends the first installment of BCD. Mull those questions over until the next installment.

Dear Reader,Are you getting enough pesticides, herbicides, fertilizers and bovine growth hormones in your diet? You certainly are if you drink pasteurized and homogenized commercial milk every day. Unfortunately, postmenopausal women may be getting all that, plus a whole lot more: A higher risk of developing a serious form of ovarian cancer. ------------------------------------------------------------One dangerous moustache ------------------------------------------------------------Lactose is a milk sugar that contains galactose; a sugar component that has been associated with ovarian cancer in previous studies. Researchers at the National Institute of Environmental Medicine in Stockholm, Sweden, examined this association with a study of dairy product and lactose intake. The Stockholm team used data collected from the Swedish Mammography Cohort to review dietary and medical records of more than 61,000 women, aged 38 to 76 years who were cancer-free at the outset of the study. Over a follow up period of about 13 years, more than 260 subjects were diagnosed with epithelial ovarian cancer, and 125 of those cases were considered "serious." Frankly, it's hard to imagine a case of epithelial ovarian cancer that isn't serious, especially given the fact that it's usually not caught in the early stages. To make matters worse, this type of cancer originates in the surface cells of the ovaries and frequently spreads to other organs in the abdomen. After analyzing their data, the Stockholm researchers came to these conclusions: * Lactose intake was associated with serious ovarian cancer risk. * Women who consumed approximately four daily servings of dairy products had twice the risk of developing serious ovarian cancer compared to women who consumed less than two daily servings of dairy. * The dairy product most strongly associated with serious ovarian cancer was milk.
